"Making art and creating things, is not a conscious choice for me, it is the product of wondering and the urge to create"
Anne Marie Aldershof (1967) is a dutch multimedia artist. As a child she already had the urge to make things as little booklets, huts, puppets of clay etc. Besides her interest in drawing, painting and sculpturing, activities that were strongly encouraged at the Waldorf School, Anne Marie also loves animals and she was active in several animal welfare organisations. From 1994 she took drawing and painting lessons and began to exhibit in 2003. In 2008 she started to study fine art.
Her art is a way to express herself without limitation of certain themes, material or style. This creates a very diverse oeuvre.
Besides her own work Anne marie takes assignments for illustrations and portaits.
Anne Marie is also engaged in design.
